    Help Date Stanley R & L #129

The blade out the #129 I found last weekend has two Pat. dates on it, and I can't find the significance of the two dates. it has AP'L 18-76 and AP'l 19-92 right under it. I did check Rexmill but found nothing dated this way.100_0534 (640x480).jpg Thanks for any help you may give,

The Apl 19-92 is for the hole at the bottom so the lateral adjuster could be used the full length of the blade as it was honed to the end.

No idea about the Apl 18-76. http://www.datamp.org/displayIndex.php?start=0 shows it as an improvement to planes used on the Liberty Bell series.

According to Walters it looks like a type 3, 1892-06. Part of the Liberty Bell series.
