Thread: Grizzly G0514X2 enroute. Recommendations for installation?

    I thought the bandsaw base was flimsy and added a lot of flex and wobble to the system. Even though I generally don't move mine around, I put it on this base (or one very similar they were carrying years ago):

    I sized the plywood as small as possible. Then I drilled through the bolt holes in the bandsaw base, and right through the metal and plywood of the base, and I bolted it down solid to the base. Between that, and the levelers on the mobile base, the saw instantly became a lot better. Anyhow, that's just an FYI. Getting this thing bolted down to something solid makes for a better saw. Getting it level helps too.
