    Brushing Lacquer

How much should thin brushing lacquer in order to spray it ?

I think it will depend on the lacquer if it needs thinning at all. Anyhow, there's probably a ton of retarder in the brushing lacquer. That will make it somewhat difficult to spray without getting some sags or runs. Just FYI to keep on eye out for that

I wouldn't thin it at all. But I would try it on a scrap piece first to be sure.

Brushing lacquer usually has slower evaporating solvents so it won't dry too fast for brushing.

Don't apply too heavy a coat as it will likely run.

As stated, thinning requirements depend upon the product and the particular spray gear you use.

Please also be sure you have a proper environment and proper personal protection for using lacquer; brush or spray.
