new to the engraving game, would like opinions

I am new to the engraving game and to this site, I am in the process of purchasing an engraver. Wondering which machine does the best job for engraving wood gunstocks, wood plaques and picture glass? was looking at a Epilog 24 mini, will the chinese lasers do a good job on these mediums? Thank you for your help.

I love Chinese machines but they don't do well at engraving
