    First Place!

My 7 year old grandson Brady with his Pinewood Derby car we made. He’s a happy camper!

A jealous only-got-third-place former Eagle Scout says:

Well done, Brady. Very well done indeed!!!

    Pass it along, please.

And - Gramps - the photo of the car is ............. ??????

I did the bandsaw cutting following his design lines, Brady did the rest. He spent almost an hour on my spindle sander sanding it.

Cool! now on to regionals right! Congrats to the young man! I've still got both my boy's cars. Ones in college now and the other is an EOD (bomb tech) in the Military. Those were some good times at those derby's!

LOL, no, but I did mill a cavity in the bottom for some BB's so he could get the weight up to the 5oz maximum.

    I'm jealous.

Not so much because of winning the derby...(congrats, by the way)...but because you have a grandson.

    I have 7 grand-daughters.
    I am never wrong.

    Well...I thought I was wrong once...but I was mistaken.

I have 6 granddaughters and love them all but none of them have ever shown any interest in WW. I'm just starting to work with Brady, he likes all the tools!

That's why it's so fast, naturally.

    Well done. Congratulations Brady.

My son won when he was a Cub Scout, but has a tiny trophy to show for it. Good for your troop for giving him a great prize.
