    Minimum sanding length Performax / Jet 16 - 32 Drum Sander

    Anyone know what the minimum sanding length is for the Performax 16-32 Drum Sander? I cannot find it in the manual.

    I believe I heard it is as little as 2 3/4"

    I'm guessing it would be the distance between the drum and pressure plates. Long enough that it has 2 points of contact at all times. Just a guess though.
