    New work light from Menard's

Came across this clamp on light. It has three section to the flexible neck. Comes with a very strong earth magnet on one of the extensions. I remove it from the extension and drilled a 3/8" hole in the base of the clamp. Secured it with a 3/8" nut. The light is 1100 lumens from 5 LEDs and is a bright white in appearance. The switch is on the back of the light and the small brick is on the plug and plugs in across the outlet taking up little space on a multi outlet. The plug goes in the outlet in either direction. The flexible neck is resident enough to hold the light head in a horizontal position. It will unscrew its extensions if tilted counter clockwise. A little lock tight should cure that. Cost was $40 minus the 11% sale this week.

About 14". I don't think it would be too difficult to add some type of home made extension to it. Threads on the supplied extensions are 3/8".
Here is a site selling extensions.

Do you have a Menard's part number? I went online and us people further east in New England can order it but I couldn't find it.

I looked at one of those couple months back at out Menards store and they are VERY bright. Whatever you do,,, DONT LOOK AT THE LIGHT when you turn it on. Took me a few minutes to get the whites spots to go away!

Here's a picture of the box. I see it is 1,000 lumens instead of 1,100.
