Just puttering around
had some scraps left over from a screen door build. After about 2 hours of "puttering"

added to the feet, more just a bit more tilt.

underneath the 1/4" Luann Plywood. About 23" between the uprights.

Had two stick of cap molding sitting around, made a decent lip.

Looking good.
That may be fine in a stable area like Ohio. Here in the area of the Pacific rim we sometimes have earthquakes that might bounce those babies up and over the edge and down to the floor.

I think if you don't deal with humidity like I do, this is the best way to store planes, and you did a great job. I always admire the images of the LN workshops with the neatly displayed planes and screwdrivers all lined up and ready for action.
