I put ours in at 8:56 and hear it sizzling away.

I hope everyone has a fantastic day with family and friends.

Our son has to work at 3:00 PM today so we will have an early Thanksgiving dinner. I flew my parents out here for a visit. There is lots to be thankful for. The turkey went in at 8:20 AM.

I particularly dislike businesses that have to have employees come in on a holiday. I understand it for essential services (hospital, fire department, etc...) but it is unnecessary for retail.

We had family members drive in yesterday from Phoenix, AZ and from Vancouver, WA. 12 of us spent the night in our home last night. Our oldest son and wife who live locally will be joining us for dinner this afternoon. He worked over night.

We are blessed with the company of one of our adult granddaughters age 28 and her spouse, their 8 year old son, their 5 year old son, our youngest son's wife, their twin 4 year old daughters, and 2 year old son, our daughter, her spouse, our oldest son and his spouse. The house is loaded. The turkey and ham are in the oven.

14 for dinner and we have so much for which to be thankful!

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
