    Maple bowl

    14 x 3" maple bowl with walnut oil finish.

  2. Pretty nice, Allan.......lots of curl in that maple. Bottom is nicely finished off as well. Not sure about the straight sides on the upper area near the rim.......of course that is my personal tastes, but overall this is a nice big bowl.
    Remember, in a moments time, everything can change!

    Roger, I agree that the upper portion needed some flare. The very hard cutting wood grin was giving me a bad time.

    Very nice! Figured Maple is my first choice in wood. It can give you a hard time but well worth the effort.
    I bet you wish that you had a truck load of that material.

    Stunning! Love all that curl! This needs to be on display someplace where lots of people can see what Curly Maple is supposed to look like! Thanks for sharing!
