    Harbor Freight Cut-Off Saw

I just bought an inexpensive HB 6 inch cut-off saw model 61204. I thought I could use it for small wood pieces but all the info refers to metal and tubing. Also, I can only find 6.5 inch blades online -- no 6 inches. Does anyone know if this can take a 6.5 inch blade and is it even usable for small wood projects.

It looks like it was made to run cutoff wheels and there is no place for the teeth of a wood cutting blade to go once the blade passes through the piece being cut.

I may be wrong but if the blade is steel then it will cut wood although the cut may not be smooth, what type of vise is on the saw ?I bought a smaller saw from HF than this one that are made to cut wood or other items that are use to made ink pens
