    Jet 1440VS Lathe

    Does anyone know if the new Jet 1440VS Lathe is a true Variable Speed or a Reeves Drive. I think it is Reeves Drive, but looking at the videos and reading the spec, I can tell for sure.

    Pretty sure its a Reeves. Manual says motor speed 1720rpm and can't see a controller box.
    Retired - when every day is Saturday (unless it's Sunday).
