    Let's see...

    Startship mostly full of guys, with replicators and holodecks. They use the holodeck to make believe they live in medieval Europe, and they replicate hot tea.

    And all along I was convinced that, after working 22 years in the IT field that computers and all things tech were the spawn of Satan!

    Then along comes some actual useful technology !

    Read Neal Stephenson's "Diamond Age" to get a glimpse of
    'The Feed' as a solution to 'moving stuff around'.

    The Maker movement is embracing this idea.
