I have been working on finishing this project for several months now. It is made from hard maple colored with TransTint Dye and finished with GF ArmrSeal gloss. It has dried about six weeks or more and I am now ready to polish it out. Even thought it was buffed between coats I still have a few small nubbies that need to be rubbed out.

I am new to gloss finishes, I usually use semi gloss or satin but the LOMF wanted gloss on this piece. Here is what I am thinking:

Rub with 0000 ScotchBrite pad with some water with dish detergent for lubricity followed by Rottenstone with water as lubricant.

What are your suggestions and thoughts.

Thanks

George
