    First time, turned Christmas orament.

This is my first attempt at a Christmas ornament.
The globe is cherry, and hollowed out to about 1/8" thickness. The top and finial are maple. They're dyed with dye's from craft supply.
The finish is friction rub made from "Cap'n Eddie's" formula.

Great Job, hollowing can be tricky .... you're down to 1/8" , well done.

Looks pretty good - especially for a first! Very festive!
