    Question Bit Identification

    Need help identifying this bit:



    The name of the profile would be tremendously helpful as I am in need of a similar bit.

    It's called a Double Angle Chamfer Cutter in a lot of places.

    Real name Steve but that name was taken on the forum. Used Middle name. Call me Steve or Scott, doesn't matter.

    I'd be tempted to call it a "bird's mouth" profile, as in 90 degree bird's mouth, or 60 degree bird's mouth, etcetera. This may be regional slang that's not applicable in your area.

    are you going to use it to tap?
    Enroute 5.1 has a function that can thread a hole with a bit similar to this one.
