    Potpourri Boxes

I just completed my latest WW project – (3) Potpourri boxes. Since the LOML prefers color, I made her from Poplar & painted it white per her request. The other two are for my daughter. She prefers to see the wood grain. The hemlock used was from the 8/4x13x48 piece I picked up at a local sawmill. I planed it using a planer sled I recently made & ripped into pieces as needed.

Really nice looking boxes, I am sure the tops were a little challenge, well they would be for me.

After seeing the "waffleoids" you made, those little box tops should be a piece of cake for you. Like they say at Santa Anita: "there's no hill for a stepper".

Sweet! Beautiful boxes. Did you use scroll saw to cut the pattern? How many TPI?

First of all I just noticed that I referred o the wood as Hemlock when in fact they are Walnut. Had to be a "Senior Moment".

The blade i used was a DeWalt Spiral blade DW3947.
