Dan Nelson's Woodcrafters - Family Crest

    Good Afternoon.

I posted a few weeks back in search of someone who could duplicate my family crest CNC carved into wood so that I could apply it as an on-lay to the work I build. I turn out a few pieces per year and decided to use my family crest as a maker's mark.

Dan and I got together on this project and after some sketch work he put together a prototype for me in the flesh (flesh of maple).

I am very pleased with the turnout, Dan did a fantastic job on this project.

This Crest dates back to the crusades and was awarded to my Ancestor upon being Knighted Sir John De Holcombe by King Richard the Lion Hearted in 1189 for heroic action in the Battle of Palestine.

Very nice, worthy of a better quality pic.
