    Is this 50W or 40W

So in looking for a power supply for this freakin machine, some folks tell me it's actually a 40 watt machine because the tube is 850cm long and not 1000. So are these folks just selling a 40 watt for the price of a 50 watt? http://www.ebay.com/itm/LASER-ENGRAV...item19e7893c16 and should I be getting a 40 watt or 50 watt power supply..

ScreenHunter_28 Jan. 31 11.27.jpg These are how some folks are selling them on EBAY..... but I don't know. When I try to match power supply to tube it doesn't make a lot of sense. I'm thinking of sending it to Rabbit, but can't afford $400.00 for a new power supply.... this has been a real pain.

I don't own a Chinese laser but basically the sellers on eBay specifically bump up the power ratings on their lasers. The 40W tubes can put out close to 50W peak but should only really run at 40W max. They sell the laser as a 50W tube, which isn't exactly honest advertising but its also not false advertising per say.

If you aren't happy with your machine, do a charge back, assuming you used a credit card. They will more often than not protect you.

+1 for Ross, yup, 50 watts is the PEAK power not the available running power so they aren't lying but they aren't being fully truthful either
    You did what !
