Is there a spray on photo resist that I can use for curved wine glasses? I want to laser engrave it and sandblast. Has anyone tried plasti dip. Is it safe to laser engrave?
Thanks,
Tony

If you are lasering then you don't need photo resist. I would recommend Ikonics Laser Tape. It forms very well around curves and lasers with great detail. It comes off by simply soaking in warm water.
I purchased some black PlastiDip thinking it might work as masking. Under certain conditions on certain materials it might work but be forewarned, it's messy, it stinks, and takes longer to dry than you may like.
The spray nozzle wanted to clog within 30 seconds.
On bare wood - forget it. It won't peel off and basically bods permanently. It's possible I didn't have it on thick enough but two coats covered well so I didn't put any more on. Properly sealed or painted wood might be possible but I haven't tried it yet.
Sheets of "craft foam" - forget it. Same problem as bare wood.
If I have success with it on anything sealed or painted, or on glass I'll report back.
My initial thoughts are it will take longer to cover the areas you don't want sprayed, than it would be worth using.

I take perfectly good large pieces of stuff & turn them into smaller pieces having dubious value

Photo resist wont withstand a blast , it will withstand an acid tho , hydroflouric acid etches glass but is vile dangerous stuff.
use masking tape..we use that on glass as a resist.
