    Finishing Ebony

    Hi All;
    Does anyone have any experience/ information on finishing genuine Gabon ebony? I appreciate any advice or tips. Thanks

    Plane it by hand, and then shellac, or lacquer. Works great. Oil doesn't penetrate it, so stay away from it if possible.
