You can get them new from Tools for Working Wood. https://www.toolsforworkingwood.com/...item/MS-THRDCH
I know the voices in my head aren't real but boy do they come up with some good ideas !
People discuss my art and pretend to understand as if it were necessary to understand, when it's simply necessary to love. - Claude Monet
TWW shows them to be out of stock. I have a couple sets of Sorby and like them. They are HSS. The Ray Iles are carbon steel, if that makes a difference to you.
They are out of stock and dont know when they will get some.
This may interest you since you're looking at threading. Different threading process is used.

Ill probably go with the Sorby. Thanks Guys!
Try Mark St Leger www.markstleger.com
I have one and love it
What thread pitch do you guys like?
I know it depends on what wood you are threading, and there are a few to choose from. 16 to 20 TPI. I have a 20, and I think it's too fine...... Just my $0.02.
Unless one does a lot of chasing, getting a nice fitting set of threads is tricky. I think 10tpi is much more forgiving and less likely to cross thread in use.
