Idea came from a post on a forum, in which a photo was shown.
Done using Sketchup. All frame and panel, with a hinged flip-up seat and storage in the box under. I envision it in rift cherry or rift oak, and all the flat panels come from one half-sheet of 1/4" hardwood veneer panel stock. My supplier stocks both with MDF core. Only the two side panels of the wings need ply that is good on the back side, and one could select which part of the ply stock should be used for that.
The front legs are joined panel stiles, and the joinery can be either lock-miter, splines, biscuits, dominos, or just miter and glue. If I do it, all those butt joints will be domino'd.
I am guessing less than 30 bf of 4/4 lumber, and one good 5/4 board for the top crown and seat. Mirrors for sure should have bevel edges.
And yeah, it is on the 3D Warehouse.
