A few questions, if you don't mind:
What is the final reduction ratio of the indexer?
Is there a method to keep drive from slipping?
Are you able to use both indexing and turning features?

This is very interesting for me, I have been trying to learn about CNC for wood lathes for a little while now and this seems to be the best solution I've come across for my needs. Thanks for the kind words, this has been a fun project. I sold the machine complete, assembled, calibrated and tuned. Includes the lathe, CNC additions, computer and monitor. Training also included. Saves many hours of frustration for the new owner.

I am looking at a smaller version as a possible kit. After this unit ships I am ordering a Jet 1221vs to build it on. Kit will run on Mach, ShopBot, WinCNC or LinuxCNC

Can't wait to see your kit, especially one that runs on a ShopBot!

Very interesting video. I have a question, since I know nothing about CNC: Do you program each pass to only go in a certain depth or does the CNC program itself determine that depth? Also, have you done any test to see the maximum pass speed or is this the limit?

We use ArtCAM, need program the total depth and then cutting depth per pass. Not sure about other programs.
