Snow cover in the yard is down to just over a foot, the birds are singing, the maple sap is running-- it's definitely spring! Mud season is upon us.

    Wise guy.

Get back to us when it is 110*, and explain that "no humidity" baloney to us.

My parents live in Scottsdale, and I visit often. There is no selling around that number.

I guess it depends on how you define winter

We had the 5th coldest February on record. I guess this is an improvement.

Yeah, Curt, three to six inches tomorrow (maybe), but back to 50 degrees on Saturday so I'm considering winter over regardless. When I can get back on the golf course it will officially be spring then!

Thought I'd float this to the top again...

    Because....

We just got 6" of wet heavy snow that gave me the favor of a two hour commute this morning.

Up here in Ontario,Canada we were so optimistic that the 45°F will stay ,and it did for a week but we are back to 10° or colder weather again, the ground around my shop is like an ice rink ,fell twice already, but I just pretend I don't see the snow anymore.maybe that's why I fell twice

My favorite poem not written by Eliot. [The punctuation is correct - cummings did some odd things]

"mud-luscious" and "puddle-wonderful" have been two of my favorite phrases for over 4 decades.........

    [in Just-]

    BY E. E. CUMMINGS

    in Just-
spring when the world is mud-
    luscious the little
    lame balloonman

    whistles far and wee

    and eddieandbill come
    running from marbles and
    piracies and it's
    spring

    when the world is puddle-wonderful

    the queer
    old balloonman whistles
    far and wee
    and bettyandisbel come dancing

    from hop-scotch and jump-rope and

    it's
    spring
    and

    the

    goat-footed

    balloonMan whistles
    far
    and
    wee

Cincinnati had freezing sleet and just north some snow. It's not over yet.

15F this morning and 33F for the high today. I think it's still winter. Looks like tomorrow is going to be similar but maybe a bit warmer.
