    Hand Saw Resharpening

Where do you Neanders send your saws to be sharpened? My dad has a couple he would like resharpened. One is about 20" long and he likes that one quite a bit. Any ideas?

Dad is one of those who would rather use tools than work on them. I thought there would be some guru everyone loved who provided this service.

I haven't used their services but the reputation is second to none.

I've used Daryl Weir in the past and can highly recommend him. Great job on restoration of a 1800's back saw.

http://www.cookessharpening.com/ has gotten good reviews but I've not used them.

Daryl Weir is very, very good and so is Matt Cianci. I think Daryl is west coast and Matt is in Rhode Island. Matt can be contacted thru Thesawblog
