    Lacquer and containers....

I need to strip the lacquer off some new chisel and plane blades, and would like to minimize the amount I use without simultaneously filling the air with lacquer fumes. I am considering putting them into a ziploc bag with some lacquer in it. I don't know if the lacquer will eat through the bags or not. So, I'm looking for some sort of very inexpensive sealing container that I can use...

    Proven solutions welcome.

Use a tall, wide-mouth Mason jar, or other tall jar. Strain the lacquer thinner when done, and store in an can marked "Dirty Lacquer Thinner". I buy my mineral spirits and lacquer thinners by the gallon, and I have old cans of these solvents for storing the dirty/used solvent.
