The Rox took a 7-5 lead into the 9th at home and lost 8-7. A couple walks, a couple bloops and before ya know it, it's a 3-spot in the top of the 9th. UGH.

Today, they took a 6-2 lead into the 9th at home..................and won it 6-4. UGH. Well, they took the series at least. Whew!

With all possible respect, as due to a fellow Creeker that lives along the venerated 56 Highway in Eastern Kansas............

I could not care less what the Royals are doing, while I am a half-dozen games in their rearview..........

    It figgers.

Tigers down 0-4 to ChiSox after 7. I dropped it and moved onto something more interesting.

And - 4 in the 8th, and a walk-off in the ninth to win it 5-4.

    siiiighhh..

After a weekend of watching the grandkids (as my son & DIL were out-of-town for a Kenny Wayne Shepard concert), my first thoughts were: "I wonder if Kent stuck it out?"

I need to get a life...
"Don't worry. They couldn't possibly hit us from that dist...."

I'm skipping out of work early today and will be headed to the Oakland Coliseum with a buddy to watch some interleague play between my Rockies and the A's. I'm looking forward to my $8 beer and $8 hot dog. Mmmmmmmm....

    Bogart supposedly said:

"A hot dog at the ballpark is better than a steak at a fine restaurant."

I agree - as long as it is a dog in the seats from a vendor, extra mustard....
