    Issue with rotary attachment

I have the rotary attachment that came with my laser and it works okay, but what I'm having issues with is why I can't seem to get my text to come out right without mirroring or rotating before I start the laser. Do I need to flip the attachment maybe or is it just going to be the nature of the beast? The attachment is the roller type just for information.

    Thanks.......Terry Wade

Did the maker of your laser and rotary attachment, intend for the driven end, to be at the opposite end of the bed?

    Terry,

As far as the 'mirroring' we would have to see what you mean.

However, with the rotary attachments I've seen (including my Epilog) they always rotate if you have your settings start at the bottom of the engraving. When you select your settings, try to set it from the top. Basically your machine will not 'scroll' down the page to start engraving. It's a quirk I had to learn when doing beer steins due to the handles.

    Best of luck. Josh
