I made this desk blotter from 1/4" sugar pine and 8 oz leather. I use it daily for writing notes

Is the leather pad glued in place?

Yes, it's glued in with spray adhesive.

I don't really have a use for a blotter, but I like it. Maybe I can find a friend or family member who could use one.
