Thanks to All the Folks on this Forum!

I have been turning a while, but nothing very demanding.

After reading this forum and following the tips and references I started doing some segmented turning on my 1946 Delta.

This is about 6 inches in diameter by 16 tall. Obviously a lamp base.

There is no way I could have made it this nice without all the help from this forum. One of the best tips was to use a few grains of fine sand when gluing up layers. WOW! Talk about making it easy. Another great one was following the references to SegEasy. I have a CNC machine so I created my own jig and precision templates.

This lamp has 22 layers with 10 segments on each layer. My wife just loves it.

Thanks everybody for making this a great forum!

That's a very impressive piece Ted. You've got a keeper for sure and I see why the Mrs. loves it.
