Protection ability of pure tung oil and minwax paste finishing wax?

How well would pure tung oil with a coat of minwax paste finishing wax, protect against moisture and sweat?

Better than nothing but still not very well. You didn't state what it is you want to finish, but with no other information I think a wipe on varnish would be a far better choice. Doesn't matter much which one you choose, they all will offer far better protection against water, sweat, and bunch of other things, than oil and wax.

I sometimes finish jewelry and keepsake boxes with a combination of Watco Danish oil followed by Johnson's Past Wax. Watco has some varnish in it and will protect far better than straight Tung oil. Even so, I would never use that schedule on a piece of furniture that is subject to chemical or water damage or excessive wear.

As already said, neither wax nor pure tung oil individually or in combination are a very protective finish.

Really key to answering your query is what is the item you want to finish?
