    Saw Stache............new product

Just got an e-mail about Fast Cap's newest product, the Saw Stache. It is a flexible brush you can put around various guards to contain dust, just like some CNC machines have. There is a video showing it's use, and it costs about $9-10 per foot.

It's a wowser! Just what we need for table saw guards.

Thanks for posting the info Rick, interesting product. I might try it around my table saw dust extraction guard.

I like the idea of keeping the dust from escaping through the elevation slot on a conventional table saw. I have some brush material I bought from McMaster-Carr (much cheaper). I'm going to make one up for my Unisaw.

    Here's a link to McMaster-Carr's brush material:

I find this quite interesting. I would love to contain more dust on my TS. Wonder if there is a way to use it with sliding compound miter saw.

Interesting. It could also be used around the hand wheel openings on a table saw.

I do a lot of climb cutting on the shaper, I wonder if it's stiff enough to hold back the shavings coming off of a panel raiser at mach ten.

I could find some uses for that stuff
