    New 19 inch Grizzly Bandsaw

Got the monster delivered yesterday and finally got the wiring run today and the saw tuned up. Have to say, like my past three Grizzly purchases (table saw, jointer, lathe) this beast did not disappoint. I have to admit that I didn't realize the size of the darn thing, the table is huge, and the shear mass of the saw itself. I came from a Jet 14 inch with the riser block and for some reason was surprised by the mass. Love the 3 hp motor, foot brake, the table is huge and sound, adjusting tension on the blade is way easy, tilting the table a breeze, and I will say the fence is surprisingly stout. Those that read my posts will not be shocked, but I will once again say, I don't know what else I could want in a band saw. Not a scratch, ding, or missing part.....I am a Grizzly fan for sure.

Good for you! I've been lusting after the G0636 for a while now. I think a trip to Bellingham is in my future!

best thing I ever did for my 19" grizz BS was to stop being so cheap and get a 1/2" carbide blade - what an improvement to an already great saw
