My Attempt at Drunken Cutting Boards

After I saw Peter's post on this technique I just had to give it a try.....I used Maple and Walnut and since the boards were an inch thick after finishing they were thick enough to make two boards...many thanks to Peter Brown for sharing this method....

Wow, that is impressive. Looks great.
Profanity is the futile effort of a feeble mind, to exert itself forcefully.

Nice job, Barry; and I share your enthusiasm for the idea. I think it is the modern descendant of the ancient "perspective squares" design. I'm thinking about the idea for a painted bathroom floor. And walking on a gently rolling floor might be safer than than walking on the tall blocks of perspective squares !

I see the concept and might have to give that a try.

Thanks guys for looking and commenting....I would recommend this project to anyone thinking about doing it. It's fun watching it come together as you do the glue-ups and the planing .
