If you do large work and need a super soft pad try a wool 6" buffing pad, spray contact cement and a sticky back 6" sanding disc. My little voices told me this one.

Having a bunch like Bob has is very handy. Lee Valleys' are purdy. I would need about $350 worth of Lee Valleys to replace the ones I have. Having them set with different mediums, different pads, different sizes, different shapes. Saves lots of time.....grab, chuck up a few air tools/drills, and sand. No swapping of mediums unless they wear out. Color code the setups and no worrying which is which medium. Cut your own velcro pads.....$5/$8 a circle pad? ouch.
