    Big Leaf Maple Burl

Haven't posted for awhile, but did complete a couple of bowls. This one is BLM burl 13.5" x 5". It had a couple of holes in it that I filled with a coffee ground/epoxy mixture.

Gorgeous. I like the rim treatment, too.

    Mike,
Very nice shape and the Big leaf burl with the rim grooving on the edge make it really pop. Well done.

Very nice form. That may be my fave domestic burl.

Oregon. You probably just walk into your front yard and basketball sized burls have sprouted overnight...
