    Blue Painters Tape

Does anyone know if the Scotch Blue Painters Tape is available in 1/2" or 12MM width? I cannot seem to find it on line or at the local big box stores. The narrowest I can find is 24mm.

    Thanks

I've had problem finding the 3/4" nominal width lately, too...

Not sure about the scotchblue product, but I've gotten smaller tape at automotive stores.

If you have a Menards, check there. I buy 1/2" and 3/4" there. Check their online store. Maybe it can be shipped to your home. Good Luck...

Scotch makes blue tape in 1/2" and goes down to as narrow as 1/8". Try McMaster Carr.

Thanks for all the help. It gets a little expensive buying on line ~$7.50 per roll to my door. Was hoping for find locally.

I use to have more luck at autobody suppliers like PPG for skinny tape, if you have such a place near you might have more luck?

I'll just mention that in the thinner tapes I find this stuff to leave a cleaner line if that is any concern. 12mm is a bit shy of your 1/2" so if that is a critical dimension it is moot. I bought in 3, 6, and 12mm and got free shipping at the time. Of course I generally have a few items in my wish list that will push an order to the required amount to qualify for free shipping ;-) HTH
