    My weirdest perpetual trophy

    DSC04342.jpg

    It's an annual golf tournament trophy. Just added this years names.

    I only do awards on occasion, so I figure those of you who do them for a living must have been involved with a few 'unique' awards...
    ========================================
    ELEVEN - rotary cutter tool machines
    FOUR - CO2 lasers
    THREE- make that FOUR now - fiber lasers
    ONE - vinyl cutter

    Oh my!

    Is it just me, or would I be justified in throwing the golf game in an effort not to get the award? <grin>

    That looks like a device used in performing a "slump test" to check the consistency of freshly poured concrete.

    And it looks like it was used quite a bit before they "bronzed" it (in gold, no less).
