Saw identification help (Disston 12 inch panel saw)

Found this little guy while at an antique store earlier today. I had a look at the disstonian institute website but was unable to find any info on it. Any help would be interesting and appreciated.

It's from a kid's tool kit, if I'm not mistaken.

Not sure if your joking or not, but that was actually what I was thinking. Maybe some type of junior woodworking kit.

Disston made some small saws for boys marked "American Boy." Other small saws, that I know of, were toolbox saws, but not kids' saws.

Here is a terrible iPhone photo from the 1932 Disston catalog. As you can see, you have a #28 Tool Box Saw. Now you just have to find a #29 to go with it.

Oh wow that's amazing thank you. I thought for sure it was a kids saw of some kind. Would something like this potentially be collectible? If not, I'd love to use it as a crosscut saw at the bench.
