A couple splurge purchases this week

Bought a byrd spiral cutterhead for the 8 inch grizzly jointer and also bought the Kreg Foreman. I have no doubt about the value of the spiral cutterhead but have a wait and see attitude about the kreg tool. We do quite a bit of work with the basic kreg jig so hoping it saves a significant amount of time. Any current owners of the Foreman that have an opinion? I am certain there will be plenty that say its a bad way to join boards...I happen to be a huge fan of the joint, coupled with some titebond 2 glue

I have the old style electric Foreman on my RAS bench, set up and ready to go. I find it extremely handy to have ready without setting up the little one for just a few holes, and of course it is much quicker for a lot of holes. It is not in the way, and is lined up with the RAS table and fence. Don't know about the new style, never used one.
