I like old Stanley or Millers Falls braces. Most of the time they can be found in junk shops or antique shops for $10 -$20.

Here is a post of mine about auger bits:

There was also a recent thread with the Irwin instruction booklet.

How is postage and shipping from the U.S. to Israel?

You might try "Traditional Woodworking". It seems to me they have a nice selection of Auger bits and braces for that matter.

Tools for Working Wood is another source.

Matthew, I tried to send you a private message but it seems your mail box is full.

Thanks for the link! I didn't know that store. too bad they seem out of stock on most auger bits... size selection is narrow too.

Excellent braces and bit sets can be found on e-bay. In my opinion the good brands Miller Falls, Stanley, etc.) are better quality than modern (new) braces. They often require some cleanup, but it is worth it. My favorite is a Yankee North Bros Bell system 2100 or 2101. However there are many others to choose from.

    Matthew,
Why don't you contact Paul Sellers and ask where he buys his bits? I'm sure he will respond if you do. His suppliers are probably closer than ours here in the U.S.

That's a good idea Lowell. Paul is getting quite busy I think, he used to answer very quickly but I haven't gotten a response when I asked him for advice to learn about drawing since he is amazing at that. maybe it was a hard question, but still, even a "It's hard to answer, look for local help" would be better than nothing. I'm still happy to pay him 15$ a month, it's worth it just for the video reference when I need it.

Look for a North Bros Yankee 2101, or a Millers Falls with then"Lion" ball bearing chuck or the high end Stanley like the 813. All infinitely better than anything you will find today. I have some of each of these and can take pics if you can't find them on the net. Ebay is the place.
