    Hardware Cabinet

Here's a couple pictures of my finished walnut revolving hardware cabinet. I've worked on them(built two(one Mahogany)) off and on for a couple years. I spent more time planning than building. They were a lot of fun to build.

Wow, that is awesome. My wife would steal that for her sewing room in a heartbeat.

Good grief, if that's your hardware cabinet please show some of your furniture. No, maybe not. Awesome job.

    Extremely nice work.

Earlier this year over on the OWWM site, someone resurrected a thread from 2010 where a member documented his build of one like this. I bookmarked that thread for when I get around to making my own one day. I hope mine will be as impressively well built as yours.

    Marvelous.

Was it as much fun to plan as it was to build?

It looks great, Tony. There are a lot of drawers there. Are they triangular ? The joinery must have been quite tedious.

I appreciate all the comments. Here are a few pictures of the drawers as requested.

All aspects of planning and building were fun. I'm already planning and cutting parts for some watchmakers cabinets next.

    Thanks again, Tony Joyce

Wow! If my math is right that is 800 pieces of wood just in the drawers for the two units.

Thanks for the extra pictures of the drawer build. A great job of building jigs to make the drawers.
