Thread: I can't attach photos

    I can't attach photos

Has something changed since 1014 (my last posted picture), because I used to be able to do this?!?!?!?!I think there used to be a group of icons above this text box for modifying text or adding pics. I don't see any useful icons, just some emoticons down below this box. There is a large Manage Attachments button way below, but that just gets me to a blank pop up screen.

The large popup page is where you upload the photos.

After you upload them, you close that window and then you can insert them using the paperclip icon on the post page.

Pay particular attention to the size limit of the photos based on photo file type. The most common failure to upload photos is an individual file is too large.

When you click on "Manage Attachments" button and the popup window opens up, is there information in there indicating you can upload files from your computer or from a website and it lists the max size limits based on file type?

    Michael,

I just tried it and when I choose "Manage Attachments" I get the normal window with the upload options and the max file size advisories.

Are you using a computer, a smart phone or notebook?

Just for kicks and giggles, I will upload a photo....

    Michael,

I am afraid I'm not going to be any help.

    I am sorry!

Michael, there are step by step instructions on posting photos in this thread:
posting photos - as of June 2011

If you are not seeing the windows as pictured then I suspect there is a problem in your browser settings. What browser are you using?

Then I don't know what the problem could be. I suspect that it has to do with your computer or browser settings.

    When in doubt, Reboot
I rebooted earlier today when I first tried posting and saw no difference.
I just rebooted the system again, and guess what showed up.
You guessed it - a normal looking screen , Icons and all.

Thanks for putting up with me.
