    Jewellery Armoire - Cherry

I started this more than a year and a half ago, then spring and summer got in the way, plus some more immediate projects. It's a gift for a friend, that started out as a box you would put on a dresser - then it became a dresser. The cabinet is solid cherry, with oak drawer boxes on wood slides and birdseye maple dividers in the space under the top that lifts. Doors on the side open to necklace hangers. Black fabric lines the inside of those doors and the top four drawers of the unit. The finish is Deft Danish Oil on the cherry and water based varnish on the drawer boxes and maple.

    Thanks.....

That's a Class A chest, Paul. It looks very attractive, stout and serviceable. It'll be the centerpiece of the room. If my wife had enough jewelry to fill it I'd have to double my work hours.

That's a beauty Paul. Christmas coming early for someone?

Paul, that's a beautiful piece. Design is really cool, the drawers are also very well done. Love every aspect of this, including the workmanship!

That is very beautiful. I especially like the necklace panel.

I must say, though, it is not a wise man that commissions a large jewelry case. If your client is a woman, though, she is clever.

Very nice. On a side note, I'm not sure I approve of how clean your shop is.
