    This was a fun challenge

My friend is fixing up a 53 foot 1980 motor yacht. He asked me if I would fabricate a teak vent cover to replace the cheap looking white plastic one from the ice maker. Here are some pics. Not finish sanded or varnished yet. This was pretty fun and a completely unpractical use of time

Clearly you're not a boat owner. That pretty much sums up owning a boat across the board.

Looks beautiful Joe, I'm sure your friend will enjoy and appreciate that. And what's a day out on the water without ice......or an evening in port! Can't say I enjoy working with teak but I sure enjoy looking at it! Kudos on a beautiful job.

Great job and a high-end detail to add to your friend's boating enjoyment.

Yes that's nice and that's the good teak I can smell it from here.
