    Sketchup default fonts

I'm using v15.1 of the free version of Sketchup. I'm trying to change the default font setting for text and dimension. I know how to do it once the item has been drawn, but it's a PITA. It seems you have to do it for every time you input new text or dimension, it always reverts back to the set default. I've done an Internet search, creating a new template with the font/dimensional sizes input in the the drawing was supposedly the cure, not for me. It still reverts back to the default which really prints out too small for my old eyes. Anyone?

Pull down the Window menu to Model Info. Pick Text from the list on the left of the window. Click on Fonts. Pick what you want.

Thanks for that tidbit, worked! Forgot to mention I also perused my "SketchUp for Dummies" manual and couldn't find anything.
