    Dovetail saw out of cheap gentleman saw

    my first attempt but no last i hope hopes everything will be clear from photos. Initially saw was with steel folded back? but at the end i decided to make it till the end

    Looks great. I am sufficiently humbled by your efforts....much nicer than most woodworkers would have done. I love the detail work in the handle....lovely!

    thank you. It's walnut. Two coats of danish oil - natural and dark walnut.

    You are all so kind
    Just start doing it and make it steady and everything will be fine.
    I know some points to improve in my next attempt but main concern will be about teeth. in this saw I use existing TPI set, just resharpen and change geometry for ripping. next one will be made out of shim stock.
