    Old Poly or Varnish

I have a can of WoodKote Marine finish that goes back to probably 1980 that I believe has never been opened, is it likely good to use?

    Thanks

It has most likely really settled at the bottom of the can & may not mix wel. Yet, I would open the can, stir thoroughly, apply it, then check the results. However, if your intent is to use it on an important project I wouldn't take the chance.
