What year Powermatic Shaper

I picked up a Powermatic shaper model 24 at an auction. Got an operators manual after calling their 800 number but they could not tell me what year it was manufactured. Any guess out there, the mfg number is 840. Thanks.

Usually the first 2 digits on the serial number on Powermatic machines indicate the year.
